MSP 2012 Round 5: Swimsuit Competition + Questions

Entry for the 5th MSP round - the swimsuit and question themed one.



It's meant to look like a page from a magazine with some photos of Reiko in the swimsuit. I chose a "normal" swimsuit in late 80ies/ 90ies shape. As accessories she wears a pair of "John-Lennon-sunglasses", creole earrings and on the catwalk also that beach scarf thing with white points. Classy, but elegant.

Materials: Copic Ciao markers, Shinhan Touch markers, white gel pen, black edding 0,1mm, chalk, pens.

Questions and answers!

This round is not only about the swimsuit theme, nice photo set in the magazine by the way, it's also about some questions that our contestants have to answer on the stage. Thank you, Reiko, for telling us some more things about you.

My pleasure. Let's start. *gives polite but focussed smile*

Okay, first question. You are still working to recover all of your memories. Out of what you have been able to recover what stands out in your mind the most?

Hm, where to start. Ah, I know. Well, meanwhile, we have met another Sailor Senshi for our little group; Sailor Deneb. Before, I was almost sure that there would be others to find, but it was still a surprising thing. She and Al-Zir were able to give some more information to us and to help Castor and me to remember some things. You know, since we were already aware of Sailor Moon and her teammates and that we all carry star seeds in us and have ancient lives, there wasn’t anything much new for us. But speaking for myself, I needed some weeks to recover from what we learned about the political conflicts in the Gemini Kingdom. Ya, you do know my interest for politics and societies and indeed I spent several nights in the libraries to gather information from legends and myths that might hide some hints and all… To sum up what I found out and what was confirmed by Al-Zir so far, the civil rebellion was caused mainly by an underground cell of rebels working both against the royal family and the civilians. They played the ‘divide-and-conquer’ game on all and used the war to let Chaos invade and get the first star seeds. Finding all these facts out, was an immense shock for me and kept me some nights sleepless.

Interesting! The next question is about your twin sister who is also a Senshi. Does this make things easier or harder for you, and why?

Wow, this is almost a philosophical question. Well, there is no “either/ or”, of course. It’s both. I think, I could categorize that easily into two sections. On the one hand, it’s easier to fight together and to plan tactics and rely on each other. We fit together and know each other’s weaknesses and strengths. So, during a battle or also in our free time we know where we have to work together, can help and support or where we can simply let the other one working on the issue and just trust. Ya, so far for that site. The other site of the coin… It’s getting to be “hard” when it comes to emotional things. Like when Castor gets hurt in a fight. No need to explain that, right.

Ok, third and last question: Why does Lord Al-Zir what revenge on you?

He was brainwashed by members of the evil cell which still lives in the presence. Back in the past, Al-Zir was the son of one of the starwisher traders, you know, that shop owner who gave Sayuri our starwisher is the reincarnation of his father… But whatever. Due to his roots to the working class, Al-Zir was a fighter in the civilian resistance when the first conflicts began to rise. He was on the good side and never lost his faith in the royals, but the today’s enemies manipulated his memories and made him believe that the royal family of the Gemini Kingdom had begun the war and was responsible for all the massacres and also the death of his father. He was trained to kill us, meaning Castor and me, before we would awake as Senshi. And he had to kill Sayuri in priority, because they were in love back in that time… *sighs* … It’s cruel… But it’s past, we could defeat and liberate him and he is now the good person again.
