MSP 2012 Round 4: Pollux Thunder - Royal Thrust!

My entry for the 4th round for the MSP contest. Sailor Pollux using her Senshi powers.





.....Now I can die in peace. I know how Sailor Moon style crossed with DC Superman Batman style looks like. I had already posted a WIP of this some hours ago on fb and e all went crazy and I am still crazy in my head... Blabla. Dunno what to say. But for people who wanna practice more on lining, shading and texturing I have one tip: DRAW IN DC STYLE. Seriously. These sections are thaaat exaggeratedly used in the drawings of Superman or Batman or the others. Haha. I love it.

Enjoy staring at this piece and imagine Kal-el cooking at home, Reiko learning from Lois stuff about journalism and next to them on the other couch Sayuri and Bruce are gaming.... 8'D

Personality: Reiko is definitely a cat-person. She is a lone wolf and mostly is awake during night time and sleep in daytime. She is a loyal and faithful soul and would give her live for the people she loves. But these are rare. She doesn't like grey zones, as typical Gemini she tends to extremes - yes or no, black or white. Friendship and unlimited love or just not. She dislikes superficial acquaintanceship, although she knows a lot of people due to her web 2.0 activity and night club work. Reiko is a proud and feminist woman with quite libertarian views on society. She knows where her rights are and fights against injustice. But well, she easily gets over the top and can be easily pissed. Instead of choosing the diplomatic way, she is rude and aggressive and expects the whole world to understand her views. Often, she accidentally uses slang words and a crazy accent when she gets loud. When she recognized she was wrong, she usually doesn't lose a word of being sorry. She becomes super shy then and hates herself for that.
Interests: Sports, politics, digital networks, Senshi stuff
Likes: COFFEE (became addicted due to her working shifts), autonomy, not to be bothered by people, her jobs, being productive, EBM & Dark Wave, Vida Demson [link] (yes yes, her new friend and not-too-secret idol)
Dislikes: Most men, the new Sailor Senshi in their little group, fast food, parties.
Senshi Transformation: After having shouted "Pollux star power - make up!" her brooch starts glueing and as soon as the clothes disappear her whole body glues in soft lilac. She rises he hands above her head, and in the instance if one clap a little lilac star appears and sparkly energy flows around Reiko's body. With closed eyes she spins around some times until the energy thunder lights implode and show her full transformed Sailor outfit. She opens the eyes, blinks and gets in her pose, with the Gemini sign in the background.

Senshi Attacks: Sailor Pollux has various attacks.
1st attack
Until she gets her wand she simply can load energy from her body in her hands, it looks like on the drawing here, but comes from the inside of her. With the scream of "Pollux star burst" the loaded energy explodes from her hands and goes direction enemy.
2nd attack
She gets her magical staff and uses it for a very powerful attack. "Pollux thunder - royal thrust!" is one slogan for letting the lilac crystal star glue and load such energy as in her first attack. You can imagine it a bit like Pluto's attack, but hers is more with smoke. The energy burst goes against the enemy and lets it become dust. This attack is the one depicted here in the drawing, Sailor Pollux there first lets energy load in the crystal and is one second away from shouting the words to use the attack.
3rd attack
With the wand Pollux is also able to do another attack and to heal person's who are under demonic influence. She shouts "Galactic Gemini light - heal and shine!", the star in the circle top of the wand starts to spin very fast and instead of a heavy energy burst appears a light sparkling star thunder which rains on the "bad" ones and heals them.
4th attack
Later, Pollux will find an ancient Gemini item that will work for her as second magical item in fights - a rapier sword with pretty silver ornamental bar end (like most gadgets from the ancient Gemini Kingdom). She uses it for normal sword fightings and also with it's magical power when she shouts "Pollux energy touch!".
